KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — Several Salsarita’s Fresh Mexican Grill locations across East Tennessee are partnering with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital for a summer fundraising effort tied to Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital.
Beginning June 15 and running through July 31, customers who donate 15 dollars at participating locations will receive a free 15-dollar Salsarita’s gift card. The campaign is part of the hospital’s Adopt-A-Family initiative, which helps provide essential items for families staying with children undergoing treatment.
The program focuses on stocking pantries and supplying everyday necessities for families who may be staying at the hospital for extended periods.
Participating locations include Turkey Creek, Cedar Bluff, Hardin Valley, Bearden, Alcoa, Fountain City, Oak Ridge, Powell, Chapman Highway, Morristown, Ooltewah, Hixson, and Cleveland.
Organizers say the fundraiser offers the community a simple way to support local families while also receiving a meal in return. Donations collected during the campaign will go toward easing the burden on families facing medical challenges.
