Have you ever dreamed of sleeping in the same room that Blake Shelton grew up in? If you have, all you need to make that dream come true is $250,000 (and some professional mental help).

Blake’s childhood home in Ada, Okla., is for sale for a modest $250,000. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home was recently put on the market by Blake’s mother, Dorothy, who moved to the Lake Texoma area (Okla./Texas border) a few years ago and had been renting out the home in Ada.

The ranch-style home was built in 1973 and features 3,140-square-feet of living space, including a rustic great room, living room with fireplace and spacious back patio.

Watch Carly Pearce’s Wistful New Video for “Every Little Thing”

Watch Carly Pearce’s Wistful New Video for “Every Little Thing”

New things are happening for Carly Pearce in 2017. The Kentucky native signed a new record deal with Big Machine, released a new single, “Every Little Thing,” and now has a new video for the aforementioned song.

“‘Every Little Thing’ is about a relationship that was four or five years ago, but I wrote it last year,” says Carly to Nash Country Daily. “It’s interesting to have this song come out, and those feelings were so real, but now, so much life has happened and I’m thankful that that relationship didn’t work. It’s been amazing just to hear different stories of people that are going through that or even people that are attaching the song to something much greater like a death or being a widow or something like that.”

Vince with wife Amy Grant

In the new episode of Backstage at the Ryman, which is premiering today (March 7) on Nash Country Daily, country music icon Vince Gill is profiled during one of his recent Christmas at the Ryman shows with wife Amy Grant. During the backstage interview, Vince talks about the first time he performed on the Ryman’s hallowed stage, the venue’s magical acoustics and what the Mother Church of Country Music means to Nashville.

“Anytime I get the chance to sing in the Ryman Auditorium, I take it ’cause it’s absolutely hands down my favorite place I’ve ever gotten to play and sing music,” says Vince. “The first time I sang in here was a TV show probably close to 30 years ago with Garrison Keillor, and I just sang with an acoustic guitar—by yourself, just a guitar, in this room was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It’s only happened once or twice other than that in my lifetime and it was pretty magical.”

Big & Rich Put a Fresh Spin on Not-So-New Single, “California”

Big & Rich Put a Fresh Spin on Not-So-New Single, “California”

Today (March 6), Big & Rich announced the release of their new single, “California.” But some country fans may already be familiar with the tune that was previously cut by Tim McGraw and featured Big & Rich on harmonies. That version is a cut from Tim’s 2015 album, Damn Country Music, but it was never released as a single.

The duo reworked the song to give it a Big & Rich feel. They shared their excitement, along with a snippet of the new tune, on Instagram. The rebooted single sounds off about a girl who is in love with California and chooses the sunshine and beaches over her man.

(Cuz) she’s in love with California / And that west coast sunshine dream / These ain’t no holly woods / And these hills ain’t Beverly / Ain’t no beaches on these backroads / No sunset on the boulevard / She’s in love with California /And breakin’ my heart,” they sing in the chorus.

Written by John Rich, Rodney Clawson and Vicky McGhee, “California” is the lead single from Big & Rich’s upcoming sixth studio album, Did It for the Party, due out later this year.

“We like the song ‘California’ because it goes quick, quick, slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, slow,” John says in the video.

“It’s a two-stepping song,” adds Big Kenny.

Check out Big & Rich’s version of “California.”

Watch Cam’s TEDx Talk: “Life Can Be Tough. Music Can Help.” + Performance

Cam delivered a TEDx Talk—“Life Can Be Tough. Music Can Help.”—and performance on Jan. 21 in front of a live audience at the University of Nevada in Reno.

TEDx Talks were created in the spirit of TED Talks’ mission of supporting “ideas worth spreading” and they are planned and coordinated under a license granted by TED Talks. Initially, TEDx event coordination Dr. Bret Simmons reached out to Cam to perform at the conference, but after learning that Cam previously worked at psychology labs at both Stanford and Berkeley, he invited her to speak about the power music has on the human condition.

“It only lasted about 11 minutes . . . but I was more terrified than I’ve ever been in my life,” said Cam. “To share knowledge publicly means I had to first believe that I have knowledge worth sharing—and questioning myself is pretty much my superpower.”

During the conference, Cam also performed three songs—“Burning House,” “Runaway Train” and “Village”—from her debut album, Untamed. In addition, Cam shared the inspiration behind each song.

Just a Man and His Piano: Watch Keith Urban’s Captivating Medley of “The Fighter” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”

Just a Man and His Piano: Watch Keith Urban’s Captivating Medley of “The Fighter” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”

There’s a reason Keith Urban scored seven ACM nominations in five categories—including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year—and it’s not because he sports a great head of hair.

Keith’s current album, Ripcord, is one of the best-selling country albums of 2016, according to Billboard and Nielson Music. His fourth single from the album, “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” has simultaneously occupied the top spot on four Billboard charts: Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs (airplay/sales/streaming), Country Digital Song Sales and Country Streaming Songs, while “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Wasted Time,” and “Break On Me”—the first three singles from Ripcord—have also hit the top spot on the chart.

It’s no wonder that when the Australian cutie sits down at a piano for an intimate performance, we stop to listen. Keith took to Instagram to post a video of himself—no doubt just fiddling around—sitting at a piano, performing a medley of his current single, “The Fighter,” and his most recent No. 1 hit, “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” and the result is enthralling.

“Blue Ain’t Your Color” is Keith’s 21st Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 and the radio version of Keith’s current single, “The Fighter,” features Carrie Underwood. However, for this version, Keith went solo.
