Ian Munsick and Cody Johnson are joining forces on their new song “Long Live Cowgirls.”
Ian shares what it means for him to have Cody sing on the track – which was cowritten by Ian, Aby Gutierrez and Phil O’Donnell, “When I think of modern country and western music, I think of Cody Johnson. The way he pays respect to the tradition of the genre yet puts his own stamp on it is what has drawn me to his music for the last 10 years. ‘Long Live Cowgirls’ is a testament to the western way of life and how it’s still thriving today. There’s no one out there who represents that lifestyle better than CoJo.”
Cody and Ian treated the crowd at the Appalachian Wireless Arena in Kentucky to the song this past weekend…
Fans will have opportunities throughout this spring to see the duo as Ian will once again open for Cody on tour for a run of shows.

After showing up with his whole family – decked out in KC gear, Walker shared “Unreal experience playing halftime today…big shout out to the Chiefs for having us.”

Maddie & Tae‘s new album Through The Madness Vol. 1 is out now!
Talking about their new album, Maddie & Tae say, “This project is the product of finding and focusing on the beauty, love, growth, strength and wisdom you gain through the madness if you look for it…through the chaos of these past couple of years, especially these past couple of months for us, we learn time and time again that love is enough to carry us through. May this be a giant hug and hand for you to hold through the madness.”
Maddie shares, “I want fans to hear this project and feel known, seen and hopeful – those would be the things that we are going for with this project. We want to be real. I mean, there’s some heartbreakers on this project, but there are also songs to get you out of those moments. Just, our favorite thing in the world is to write real music, real lyric, and I feel like with this body of work we dug in even deeper, and I didn’t know we could go deeper. Jesus, what’s gonna happen on the next one? (TAE: “Oh Lawd.”) We’ve already been doing therapy and things, I don’t know how much deeper it gets than this, but we did. (laughs)”

Last Year Morgan Wade released her debut album Reckless, and now in 2022 she’s added 6-tracks for a Deluxe Edition of the project.
Morgan says, “We’re putting the deluxe edition of Reckless out. There was a lot of songs that didn’t make the record the first time and you know, especially ‘The Night.'”
Morgan continues, “‘The Night’ has never been on a physical copy of anything and that’s a song that means a lot to me it means a lot to the fans. So we wanted to put this out. Releasing a deluxe edition of a debut album feels great. You know, it’s not every day that you get to have such a great response for just the debut album that you get to go and add you know, six more songs to that so I’m really pumped.”
The 6-tracks added to Reckless are “The Night,” “Carry Me Home,” “When The Dirt All Settles,” “Run,” “Through Your Eyes,” and a cover of Elvis Presley’s classic “Suspicious Minds.”
Morgan says “I’m a big Elvis fan and “Suspicious Minds” is one of those songs that I really enjoy. And so I wanted to do kind of my own take on that song and we have such a good time playing it live that we decided to record it and I think it turned out really cool. It was definitely one of the more different songs I’ve done and so it just felt right to put it on the record.“
Reckless (Deluxe Edition) track listing;
01) “Wilder Days” 02) “Matches And Metaphors” 03) “Other Side” 04) “Don’t Cry” 05) “Mend” 06) “Last Cigarette” 07) “Take Me Away” 08) “Reckless” 09) “Northern Air” 10) “Met You” 11) “Carry Me Home” 12) “When The Dirt All Settles” 13) “Run” 14) “The Night” 15) “Through Your Eyes” 16) “Suspicious Minds”
Morgan loves that the music she makes connects with others, “When I have big, bearded guys coming up to me crying, I know I’m not alone, and I figure anything I can do to encourage the next misfit or outcast, that’s awesome, because I had nobody who looked – or saw things – like I did when I started doing this.”
Morgan Wade’s Reckless (Deluxe Edition) is available now.
Jordan Fletcher‘s debut EP, True Stories, is available now.
Talking about the music on his EP, Jordan says “All of my songs are autobiographical. If I’m singing it, it will be true about me. If you watched a childhood video of me on VHS, this is what you would see. I’m not making this up or shying away from what I believe.”
Jordan shares, “It’s an incredible blessing the way this project came out. We pulled straight from the veins on these songs and working with Dave Cobb (who produced the project) has brought out every bit of what they’re supposed to be.”
The release of Jordan’s EP follows his recent debut on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
Thinking back on that evening, Jordan says “Playing the Opry was far beyond anything I ever dreamed I’d get to do in this town. I got to step in the circle last week and I still can’t get my head around it. I have so many people to thank, from my team to every fan that has ever listened to my music, there’s no way I would get to do any of this without y’all so… Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Also, the whole Crew at the Grand Ole Opry made Kelly Rae Fletcher, Maverick and Me feel like family from the moment we got there, thank y’all for a night we won’t ever forget! God is good every day and I’m so thankful for this blessing.”
