This weekend Blake Shelton surprised fans by holding a couple of rehearsals at his Ole Red’s in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
After the first appearance Blake shared, “That was a blast yesterday!!! Let’s do it again today at Ole Red Tishomingo’s The Doghouse!!!” Blake added “Come on out and get yourself a drink if you’re bored. I repeat it’s only a rehearsal… It may not be good but at least it’s free!”
Blake’s wife Gwen Stefani was also there, and joined in on performing a few of their duets.
Blake will be kicking off his rescheduled Friends and Heroes 2021 tour in just a few weeks in Omaha – the very town where he was forced to cancel all this shows last year due to COVID-19.
Fans are looking to see Blake perform his Top-10 (and climbing) hit “Minimum Wage” – which is one of the tracks from his latest album, Body Language.
Garth Brooks rocked Salt Lake City Saturday Night at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Thrilled to be back performing for his fans Garth shares, “It was fun! They’re so sweet! Even though there’s 50-thousand of them, they act as one. It’s the greatest partner you’ve ever had. It’s a fun dance.”
After the last year and half Garth – who is no stranger to big stages – realized that being back to concerts means something a little different now, “I’m thinking we’re okay…and then you realize what you’ve missed, because you get to hear them sing (getting emotional). That’s the hard part. So, for me – I didn’t know how much I missed it…until you get to hear those voices…get to see that face. And I don’t think it was for Garth Brooks. I think it was the joy of being together. That’s what we’re supposed to do is be together.”
Garth shares his secret to performing for his fans, “The quicker you can turn it into a party [rather] than a concert…the less the old man has to work. There’s nothing to do! You just watch!”
Of course, the party got started the day before Garth took the “big” stage – when he stepped back on the “little” stage to resume his Dive Bar shows. Friday night Garth headed to The Westerner – a Salt Lake City honky-tonk – and if you couldn’t make the show…Garth shared a little big of the fun for fans to see…
Garth’s next stop is coming up this weekend at the sold out Cheyenne Frontier Days show in Cheyenne, WY.
Fans can also check out Garth’s weekly Inside Studio G on Facebook live Monday night 7 PM ET/ 6 PM CT

When a song is first written, or discovered, by an artist – they may be in one situation in their life…and if that song becomes a fan favorite, and the artist sings it night after night, year after year, sometimes it’s a bit of a mental game to get back into that mindset when they first recorded the track.
Tenille Arts says that sometimes to get the right performance while singing, you also have to do some acting, “Certain songs if you’re not feeling them anymore…or sometimes I think about songs that I’ve written about other people that I’m no longer like…(Laugh), I’m like ‘No, I don’t even want to go back to that moment.’ But at one point I was in love with them, so I guess I’ll sing this song…maybe I don’t think about them anymore, I think about somebody new…or whatever, just kind of put a new spin on things.”
Tenille will be getting in the right mindset to sing her new single “Back Then, Right Now” when she heads out on Lady A‘s What A Song Can Do tour at the end of the month
Check out “Back Then, Right Now” from Tenille Arts right here…

Dierks explains the inspiration behind the EP, “This really was a once in a lifetime show for me. Getting to play at my favorite festival…with some of my favorite musicians and performers…in one of my favorite places in the world…felt like a dream.”
Dierks adds, “Luckily this dream was captured on tape and I can go back and relive the way it felt that night whenever I want.”
Dierks has developed a deep connection with the town, “Telluride has become my second home…personally and musically.”

Brian Kelley recently checked off a bucket list item…growing up in Florida he always wanted to have a big boat, and this year he got it.
BK now owns a 56 foot Sunny Briggs sport fishing boat – and if you’re curious to see what it looks like, you’re in luck…it has it’s own Instagram account.
But even more than the boat, what fascinates BK is what, and how, people choose the names of the boats – which of course ties into one the tracks on his new album Sunshine State Of Mind – “Boat Names”
Brian shares, “Me and Brittney, we bought a big boat in January. And that was my dream – ‘Babe, one of these days I’m gonna make your name one of them boat names.’ That’s what I kept tellin’ her, you know. I love boats, I love boat names. I think boat names tell a lot about the person in the boat, and they tell so many stories. They’re so unique and they’re just so intriguing. And so, end of last year came, and I was like, ‘Babe, I think I found us a boat that checks off everything on our list.’ I was like, ‘That’s the Brittney Marie right there.'”
When he’s not on his boat, or in the studio making music, you’ll find Brian Kelley in the sand – living up to his nickname…”Beach Cowboy.”
Ian Munsick‘s “Long Haul” – which is from his album Coyote Cry – is a fan favorite…
and Ian said his goal when it came to the music on the project was that he wanted to infuse the musical vibe that he grew up with in his home state in the songs, “This album was so much fun to create. Bringing the Wyoming story to the rest of the world is one that I will always try my best to do. I hope that you guys love listening to it as much as I loved making it.”
