KNOXVILLE, TN (WOKI) — The Knoxville Fire Department will recognize newly promoted personnel during a public ceremony on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Bijou Theatre in downtown Knoxville.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Indya Kincannon and Fire Chief Stan Sharp will officiate, honoring firefighters for their leadership, professionalism, and dedication to the community.
Chief Sharp praised the group, saying their commitment strengthens KFD’s mission of providing exceptional emergency services.
The department is promoting 11 Fire Officers and 13 Master Firefighters. Family, friends, and the public are invited to attend.
