Jimmie Allen‘s out with a new collaboration with Jennifer Lopez called “On My Way.”

Brandon Davis is giving fans a new take on his music with the Hearts Don’t Rust – Acoustic EP – which is out now!
The 5-track EP features 4 songs from from his album Hearts Don’t Rust, and one new track.
Talking about the project, Brandon says, “I spent the first two years of my music career traveling this country with just my guitar and beautiful family by my side. So to me, an acoustic EP just made sense. I thought it was time to strip things back to their roots and let the lyrics shine in a way they can only do acoustically. When it all came together I was blown away. I really feel like this project shows a vulnerable side of the songs and the stories they hold.”
Hearts Don’t Rust – Acoustic EP track list:
When it comes to the new song on the Acoustic EP, Brandon says, “‘Forever and Always’ is the very first song I ever wrote for my wife back in 2017. When it came time for our wedding day, I managed to slip a copy of the song I had cut live with my family band to the DJ for our first dance without my wife knowing. Holding her close in that moment when the song first started to play is a memory I’ll never forget. I’m so thankful to finally be able to share this song with the rest of the world.”
Fans will get to see Brandon Davis perform these songs and more out on the road as he continues to open for Tim McGraw as well as his own shows…

HOOVER, Ala. – Top-ranked Tennessee continued its dominant stretch both on the mound and in the batters box, defeating eighth-seeded Vanderbilt, 10-1, in Game 7 of the 2022 SEC Tournament at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
Rain had washed out the preliminary SEC Tournament schedule and Tennessee (50-7) had to patiently wait for their turn to take the field, but when that opportunity came, the Volunteers did not miss a beat. They plated double-digit runs for the 25th time this season and went for six runs in the first three innings.
On the rubber, Camden Sewell secured his sixth victory of the year as he teamed up with Will Mabrey and Ben Joyce to sit the last nine Vanderbilt batters down in order. Starter Blade Tidwell and Kirby Connell were strong in the early innings, allowing just five hits between the two and only surrendering one run.
UT jumped out early, as they have all year, when Drew Gilbert lined a double to the gap in left center in the home half of the first inning, scoring Seth Stephenson. But, it was the offensive explosion in the third inning that paved the way for a dominating Tennessee victory.
Stephenson, who has been outstanding since assuming the role as the Big Orange leadoff man, came around to score on a double to the wall from Jorel Ortega. Gilbert and Evan Russell drove in the next two runs with hits, upping their impressive on-base streaks to 20 and nine games, respectively.
After scoring the first seven runs in a traditional sense, that of stringing together hits, Tennessee reverted to its powerful form in the later innings, mashing the ball out of the park. Blake Burke pounded a pinch-hit fastball in the fifth over the opposite-field wall in left center. Then, Cortland Lawson obliterated a middle-in fastball out of the confines of Hoover Met in the home half of the seventh, showcasing the all-around offensive prowess UT possesses.
The two shots registered impressive numbers on the SEC’s Trackman data recording system. Burke’s homer traveled 406 feet and left the bat at 110 mph, while Lawson’s drive went 433 feet with a 103 mph exit velocity.
UP NEXT: The Volunteers will await their next opponent as they face the winner of LSU and Kentucky in the final game of action Friday, May 27th, beginning at approximately 9 p.m. ET.
DOWNING THE ‘DORES: Tennessee earned its fourth victory of the season against Vanderbilt. The last time UT posted four victories against VU was back in 1994. The Vols also won the SEC Regular-Season Championship and the SEC Eastern Division Tournament that season.
CLIMBING THE LIST: UT hit its 139th home run of the season, a figure which is tied for 11th all-time in Division I single-season home run history.
75-75 CLUB: In the fourth inning, Trey Lipscomb drove in Seth Stephenson with his 75th hit of the season. That RBI also marked the senior’s 75th run batted in of the year.

Police in Newport are investigating after a nurse with Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice told them someone is dressing up as a nurse to steal medication from elderly patients.
An Officer responding to a home on Jaybird Road on May 16th about a medication theft, spoke to that nurse who told the Officer that one of their at-home patient’s medications had been swapped- hydrocodone pills for Tylenol.
The patient’s daughter, who is also her caretaker, said she noticed the pills were different after a nurse visited the home in April. Afterward, she was contacted by the facility and warned to check for identification when caretakers visit because of multiple reports of a woman posing as a nurse in order to steal medication.
The suspect is described as a brunette, short-haired woman in her mid-40s who dresses in white scrubs.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Kickoff times for Tennessee football’s first three games of the 2022 season are set, as the Southeastern Conference and the ESPN Family of Networks unveiled the early season slate on Thursday.
The Volunteers’ Week 2 matchup at defending ACC champion Pittsburgh on Sept. 10 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC from Heinz Field. The contest is being designated as the Johnny Majors Classic for the second straight year in honor of the legendary coach and player. It represents Tennessee’s first appearance on ABC since the 2016 Battle at Bristol against Virginia Tech.
The Vols’ non-conference home game versus Akron on Sept. 17 is slated for a 7 p.m. ET start in Neyland Stadium. That contest will feature a digital-only broadcast on ESPN+ and SEC Network+. Fans can watch the game on a television screen through the ESPN App via the major OTT streaming devices. It’s the first meeting between the two teams since 2012.
Last month, UT and SEC Network announced that the Vols’ season-opener against Ball State will carry a special 7 p.m. ET Thursday kickoff on Sept. 1 in Neyland Stadium.
Tennessee’s remaining game times and television networks will be announced during the season as part of the SEC and its television partners’ selection process.
Josh Heupel‘s second-year squad welcomes back 62 letterwinners and 15 starters from a team that shattered eight school records last fall. The Vols featured the nation’s most improved and fastest offense, while producing a defense that registered in the FBS top 10 in tackles for loss.
Fans wishing to purchase new season tickets can do so at AllVols.com or by contacting the UT Athletic Ticket Office at (865) 946-7000.

Tony Vitello’s Diamond Vols have captured the imagination of the Tennessee fan base.
The regular-season home attendance record was shattered, as over 4,200 routinely showed up for SEC weekend series.
The old record for regular season attendance: 64,107 in 1997 with an average of 2,137 per game.
The new record: 154,818 this year with an average of 4,184 per game. All 38 home games had at least 3,500 fans. And 24 home games had over 4,000. UT set a weekend series record with 13,699 for Auburn (the previous record entering the season was 11,280). And a midweek game against Western Carolina attracted 4,607.
Counting postseason, the UT home attendance record was 81,804 set in 1995.
Stadium expansion helped with this year’s attendance figures. So did having the top-ranked team in the nation.
As a projected No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, Tennessee will host a Regional next weekend, and, if it wins the regional, will host a Super Regional.
How many fans can UT cram into Lindsey Nelson Stadium for the postseason? Over 5,000? Over 6,000?
Tennessee athletic director Danny White isn’t sure, but he doesn’t want to make it uncomfortable for those in attendance.
“We’re trying to make sure we’re balanced,’’ White said in an exclusive interview Tuesday on SportsTalk, WNML radio. “We want to get as many in the stadium as possible. … But we don’t want to get too crazy by adding more standing-room-only tickets, adding more facility concerns about the experience.’’
In other words, he doesn’t want excessive lines at the concession stands or restrooms.
“Our infrastructure can only handle so much,’’ White said. “We don’t want to cause a negative experience. … When we improve the infrastructure, then we can have bigger crowds.’’
Tennessee had a block party at last year’s Regionals and the atmosphere was amazing.
“Even if it was just as electric as last year, it would be phenomenal,’’ White said of UT hosting a Regional. “I don’t know if it gets better than the atmosphere we had last year, but we just might beat it. I can’t wait. I think it will be so much fun.
“I think the fans will exceed expectations. The players give them a show. I think it will be awesome.’’
Ticket prices on the secondary market have been astronomical. Some weekend games have gone for over $300. Some weekday games have gone for at least $115.
If someone had told White before the season that some weekday games would go for $115, what would he have said?
“I would have said, `Is that all?’’’ White responded. “I’m obviously kidding. It’s amazing what’s happening in baseball. It’s the passion of the fan base.
“It didn’t take me long to realize it’s the best fan base in college sports and they respond to all of our sports.
“I know our student-athletes feel that and it motivates them to compete. It motivates all of us to deliver what this University deserves and state deserves, which is the best athletic department in the country.’’
On another topic, a recent study showed Tennessee had the best winning percentage covering all sports in the SEC: .672.
No other SEC team was above .600.
That’s music to White’s ears.
“I’m a competitor,’’ White said. “I know our fans are competitors. Most importantly, our coaches and student-athletes are competitors.
“That’s where we should be. That’s where the Tennessee brand should be. I’m excited we’re there that early (in White’s tenure; he was hired January 2021). And restoring the Power T and bringing us back to where we want to be, where it needs to be.
“We have early momentum, but we’ve ’ve got a lot of work to do to be sustainable, where we can expect this kind of year, year in and year out.
“The coaches are doing a great job of overdelivering. I’m thrilled about it. It’s been a phenomenal year.’’
And with baseball entering the postseason, and track and field headed to the NCAAs, it could get even better.
